This laser cut wood map of Port Angeles, Washington shows the town in three dimensional detail.

All of our 3D maps are created out of quality Baltic Birch one layer at a time using a high-powered laser. The natural grain of the wood provides unique features to every piece. Each layer is methodically hand-glued together and can take a significant amount of time.

Our maps create a uniquely personal feel and are wonderful gifts for birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries, or weddings. They are also popular gifts for adventurers, new home owners, or people with close ties to their community.

 
Two layers of 1/8” Baltic Birch and one layer of 1/8" MDF board were used to create this map. The main highways and arterial routes are cut into the top layer. More minor roads and side streets are engraved into the center layer, which also serves as the land’s contour. To show off the towns waterways the bottom layer is hand painted a light blue color. Each layer is cut separately before being layered and adhered together.
